As a child, I loved playsets, books, and cats. And as an adult, I still love playsets, books and cats. I handmade each component of this playset with a pale stoneware and handpainted with underglaze. After bisque firing all the pieces, I glazed the house, figurine, and cat before firing to cone 6. The books I left unglazed so that they have a different texture. Once the glazed pieces were cooled, I added 22k gold luster details followed by a third and final firing.

The yellow house is 7.25” tall and is signed on the bottom.
