Say hello to Deer Mommy and her adorable, swaddled baby.
I handbuilt this piece with a pale stoneware and handpainted with underglaze. After bisque firing, I covered the entire piece with multiple glazes to create different effects on her body and face. She was then fired to cone 6 before being adorned with 22k gold luster details followed by a final firing.
Deer Mommy measures approximately 4” x 3.25” x 4.5”. She is signed on the bottom.
Baby measures approximately 1.5” x 1” × .875”.
