Straight from my show, CACOPHONY, The Tower of Babble was one of the largest pieces I created for the exhibit. I chaotic stack of heads and conversational snippets she is also resplendent with her decorations: a large gold chain, a twisted gold earring, horns, and a cat head at the top of the stack.
This piece was coil built with a warm speckled stoneware, underglazed, glazed, and gold lustered by me. She measures about 17” tall.
