She is a goddess and she sees all through her five eyes, and one belly eye!
This mystical lady was handbuilt by me using a pale stoneware. After forming the shape and letting it dry, I painted her hair, face and hands with underglaze. Once she was bisque fired, I applied a bright orange glaze to create her body suit and clear glaze to her face and hands. She was then put back through the kiln for a cone 6 glaze firing to make her shine. Lastly, I made this goddess extra with my favorite 22k gold luster applied to her horns and patterning on body suit followed by a third firing.
This piece is approximately 9” x 7” x 5.75”, and is signed on the bottom.
