This ring dish shows a fancy lady with black hair wearing a hate with a cute green bow. Every dish I paint reflects some part of my current mood as I toil away in my studio chuckling to myself.

This little ring dish is handmade from a rolled slab of red stoneware. After forming the shape, I use colorful underglaze to create this fancy lady. Next she was put through a bisque kiln before I applied clear glaze on the front. She then was put back in the kiln for a firing to cone 6. Lastly, I added details with 22k gold luster and fired her a third and final time.

This little oblong ring dish measure approximately 5.25” x 2.3”, and is signed on the back.
