This comic ring dish shows a fancy lady telling you she needs guardrails. This is just one of the many hilarious, absurd, and profound things I have overheard over the course of my hilarious, absurd, and profound existence, and has now found its way onto a piece of my ceramics.

This ring dish is handmade from rolled slabs. After forming the shape, I use colorful underglaze to create the lady and word bubble. She was then bisque fired, glazed, and fired a second time to cone 6. Lastly I adorned this dish with 22k gold luster details before a third and final firing.

This dishes measure approximately 4.25” x4.25”, and is signed on the back.
