This one of a kind comic ring dish shows a a cat sitting on the head of a fancy lady saying one of the many hilarious, absurd, and profound things I have overheard over the course of my hilarious, absurd, and profound existence.

This ring dish is handmade from a rolled slab of pale stoneware. After forming the shape, I used colorful underglaze to create the cat, lady, and word bubbles. It was then bisque fired, glazed, and fired a second time to cone 6. Lastly I adorned these twowith 22k gold luster to add various details before a third and final firing.

This dish measures approximately 6” x 4.” and is signed on the bottom.
