Is the cat eating the mouse or has the mouse conquered the cat? This wall plate has a sort of snake eating its own tail metaphore but in cat & mouse form.

This hanging decorative wall plate was handmade with stoneware and handpainted with underglaze. After a bisque firing I applied a clear glaze to the front and then fired it to cone 6. The plate hangs on the wall from a macramé loop I added with hemp cord.

The plate measures 8.5” x 8.25” and is signed on the back.
