Is the cat eating the newt or has the newt posessed the cat? This wall plate has a sort of snake eating its own tail metaphor but in cat & newt form.

This hanging decorative wall plate was handmade with stoneware and handpainted with underglaze. After a bisque firing, I applied a clear glaze to the front and fired it to cone 6. The plate hangs on the wall from a macramé loop I added with hemp cord.

The plate measures 8.5” x 8.25” and is signed on the back.
