This piece is F’ing cool! She’s cubist but instead of misogyny she’s body positive.
I handmade this lady from a pale stoneware and handpainted her with underglaze. Once she was bisque fired, I applied a green glaze to her body suit and clear glaze on the rest before firing to cone 6. Lastly, I adorned the cubist mommy with 22k gold luster details followed by a final firing.
Body Positive Cubist Mommy is 4.5” tall and is signed on the bottom.
