I’ve encountered many, many, MANY cats in my life. While I have loved them all without exception, some are so stunning they fall into the category of SHOW CAT! This lamp is an ode to those cat’s I’ve loved and were truly glamorous.

I handmade this lamp with a beautiful dark stoneware. After carefully building the shape, I handpainted her majesty with underglaze. Once her highness was bisque fired, I applied a clear glaze, while leaving the ears and tail unglazed to create a contrast between glossy and matte. Finally, after firing the glazed lamp to cone 6, I painted gold patterning with 22k gold luster followed by one last firing.

This lamp is approximately 14” x 10.5” x 6”.

It comes wired with a fabric cord, and a Tala Squirrel Cage LED bulb.

Lamps do not come with a lamp shade but can be used with either a slip UNO fitter lampshade or a clip-on fitter lampshade.
