This double bud vase is part of a new series where I make mini versions of bigger pieces I’ve made in the past. Because who doesn’t love teeny tiny mini things?!
I handmade the mini vase with tinted porcelain and handpainted the face and hair with underglaze. After bisque firing, I applied a pale crystal blue glaze to the interior and clear glaze to the exterior. She was then fired to cone 6, adorned with 22k gold luster, and fired a third and final time.
Mini Double Bud Vase is 4” tall and is signed on the bottom.
