Learn to make a ceramic monster using tinted clay with Erika Rier in her private studio.

• All skill levels welcome!

• Class size limited to four students for more individual instruction.

• Use the entire time for working, I’ll take care of clean up.

Pricing: $100

• Includes instruction, materials, application of clear glaze to student pieces, and firing.

Agenda:

• Working with tinted clay, create monster using multiple handbuilding techniques.

• Add attachments such as horns and wings to make your monster one of a kind.

• Create simple decorations on your monster with black underglaze.

• Finished pieces with be clear glazed and fired by Erika.

• Pieces will be available for pickup approximlately one month after class.

Class Policies:

• Lessons cannot be rescheduled or refunded, but with seven day notice, will receive credit that can be applied to future classes and / or online shop.

  • Classes are transferable with prior approval.

• Classes begin promptly on time. Lessons cannot be extended and if arriving late will miss important instructions and work time.
