Irregularly Shaped Kitty Wine Cups with Skull Flowers

The Irregularly Shaped Kitty Wine Cups with Skull Flowers is a handpainted tumbler made entirely by hand in my Portland Studio.
The process started with me handbuilding a little cup that I then created a plaster cast of. Once the cast was made, I started using it to slip cast these porcelain cups.
Each mug has a unique shape created through the building process and hand-painted by me. Each tumbler has the same design but each one is absolutely unique.
Once fired, the cups are glazed gloss black on the interior. The outside is unglazed to highlight the smooth porcelain. Each cup is also signed by hand on the bottom.
BECAUSE OF THE HAND MADE NATURE OF THESE CUPS, THERE IS VARIATION FROM CUP TO CUP. The cups measure about 2.5” tall (they have an asymmetrical lip so one side is higher and the other a bit lower) and about 3.5” across. They hold just shy of 8 ounces of liquid.
These mugs are food safe, but NOT dishwasher safe or microwave safe.
