Common themes in my work include feminism, religion, and witchery. To that end this sculpture is the mid section of a venn diagram between Rosemary’s Baby and the Book of Genesis.

This two piece sculpture is made from a pale stoneware. After forming both pieces I handpainted Eve’s face and hair, and her daughter / snake with underglaze. They were bisque fired and then glazed. Eve’s bodysuit is a pale yellow while her face and hair are left unglazed. Her baby / snake is clear glazed. After firing to cone 6, I added patterning on Eve’s bodysuit with 22k gold luster.

This piece is approximately 9” tall. It is signed on the bottom.
