Her blood is not where it should be she tells her closest companion as she rests on its back.
This sculpture consists of a woman sitting on the back of a four legged animal friend. They are two separate pieces and the woman is able to stay in her position even when not paired with her friend.
Both pieces were carefully handbuilt with stoneware, painted with underglaze, glaze fired to cone 6, and then decorated with 22k gold luster before firing her a third and final time.
The seated woman is 8" tall.
Her friend is 5.5" tall.
When combined their footprint is approximately 8" x 6".
Both pieces are signed on the bottom.
