What was the point and what did this serpent think instead? This lady mug is very unimpressed with the serpent that’s wrapped itself around her head like a crown.

This mug was handbuilt by me with a pale stoneware. After forming the vessel and attaching the handle and nose, I handpainted with underglaze to create the face, hair, snake and other details. The mug then went through a bisque firing before being glazed with a sparkly black for the inside and clear on the outside. Finally the cup is fired to cone 6.

This mug is approximately 3.5” tall and holds 10 fl oz. She is signed on the bottom.

Mug is safe for both dishwashers and microwaves.
