I handmade this coil-built planter with a pale stoneware. After forming the shape, I handpainted the face and hair with underglaze. The planter was then bisque fired before I applied a unique red glaze to the interior and clear on the exterior. After glaze firing to cone 6, I added 22k gold luster details and then fired her for a third and final time.

The planter measures approximately 8” tall by 5.5” across and has three drainage holes.

She is signed on the bottom.
