I don’t recall who said it is better to be infamous, so apparently their own fame was short-lived. But it works great on this planter so kudos if it was you!

I handmade this coil-built planter. After forming the shape I handpainted the face and hair with underglaze. The planter was then bisque fired before I applied a sparkling sepia glaze to the interior and clear on the exterior. After glaze firing to cone 6, I added 22k gold luster details and fired her for a third and final time.

The planter measures approximately 3.5” tall by 5” across. She is signed on the bottom and has three drainage holes.
