If every piece of art is a self portrait, then what does that say about this vase? Clearly I take myself very seriously.

I handbuilt this vase from a pale stoneware. After forming the shape, I handpainted with underglaze. She was then bisque fired before I applied multiple glazes to create a blue to green transition on her dress and a red interior. Once she was fired to cone 6 and cooled, I added 22k gold luster to paint her glazes and stripes on her dress.

She measures 5.5” x 5”x 6.25”, and is signed on the bottom.
