This creepy queen says “It’s only creepy if it’s not appreciated” which could actually be applied to all my work.

This vase was slab built with a warm speckled clay. After assembling the vase by hand and attaching the nose, I handpainted with underglaze to create the Creepy Queen. After going through a bisque firing, the vase was glazed using a matte lavender on the inside and clear on the exterior. I then fired it to cone 6 before adding 22k gold luster to the crown and face. The vase was then fired for a third and final time.

This vase is approximately 7.5” tall and is signed on the bottom.
