There are three kinds of handle users; (1) People who like a handle that fits their hand perfectly, (2) people who hold their mug without using the handle, and (3) people who like to wrap their fingers around the mug and through the handle. This mug is perfect if you fall into the third category. Any Questions?

This mug was handbuilt by me with a pale stoneware. After forming the vessel and lid, I attached the handle and nose. I then handpainted with underglaze to create the face, hair, and bow. The mug then went through a bisque firing before being glazed with a pink / red interior and clear exterior. After firing to cone 6, I added 22k gold luster details and fired for a third and final time.

This mug is approximately 5” tall with lid and 4” without. It holds 10 fl oz and is signed on the bottom.
