With a not so subtle triple side eye, this lady planter suggestively says, “nice pistil”.
I handmade this coil-built planter. After forming the shape I handpainted the face and hair with underglaze. The planter was then bisque fired before I applied a peach glaze to the interior and clear on the outside. After glaze firing to cone 6, I added 22k gold luster details and fired her for a third and final time.
The planter measures approximately 3.5” tall by 5” across. She is signed on the bottom and has two functional drainage holes.
