Speckled Cat Lamp with 22k Gold Luster

I love cats, I love lamps, and I LOVE this speckled clay = SPECKLED CAT LAMP!

I handmade this lamp with my most favorite speckled stoneware. After building the shape, I handpainted the cat and lamp body with underglaze. Once the piece was bisque fired, I applied a clear glaze to make it shine. After firing the glazed lamp to cone 6, I painted the cat’s stripes with 22k gold luster followed by a third and final firing.

This lamp is approximately 15” x 8.5” x 6”.

It comes wired with a fabric cord, and a Tala Squirrel Cage LED bulb.

It is signed on the bottom.

My 2027 calendar is here filled with wacky illustrations inspired by pages of my sketchbook. The calendar is 8.5"x11 closed and 11"x17" open. It's printed on velvety cardstock. Each month features a full page month layout great for keeping track of important dates.

Most people know the value of journaling to process emotions and gain clarity so they can focus on the things that matter. Using comic offers a unique format for people to process complicated situations and feelings in a format that can lighten and bring humor to release tension. An additional benefit of comics for emotional processing is it gives you a format you can share with others to receive validation, feedback or start meaningful conversations.

In this online class we will work through four stages of developing your own personal comic to support processing emotions and removing mental blocks.

Prior to first class students will receive welcome email with list of recommended materials.

Date: TUESDAY, September 22 - October 13, 2026

Time: 10am - 1pm PST

Location: Classes led over Zoom

Week 1: Goal setting, calm reflective sketching.
Week 2: Character development with timed exercises.
Week 3: Solidifying characters for inner & outer dialogue.
Week 4: Dialog: How to reduce to the essence of meaning.

Standard class price $200

Special discount for inaugural run of online teaching: $50

Class Policies:

Lessons cannot be rescheduled or refunded, but with seven day notice, will receive credit that can be applied to future classes and / or online shop.
- Classes are transferable with prior approval.
Classes begin promptly on time. Lessons cannot be extended and if arriving late will miss important instructions and work time.
