If you haven’t already noticed, I’m funny shit. Anyone approaching my studio stands a good chance of hearing me laugh all day as I paint ceramics. That was certainly true when I painted this lady goblet with the words, “Thirst Trap”.

This goblet was slip cast from two pieces I joined together after pulling from their molds. I then handpainted the goblet with underglaze to create the face, hair, and dress. After bisque firing, I applied colored glaze for the interior and clear to the exterior and then firing to cone 6. Lastly, I added 22k gold luster details for the necklace and then fired a third and final time.

This goblet stands 6.5” tall, and holds approximately 8oz of liquid. She is signed on the bottom.
