I love cats + I love lamps = CAT LAMPS!
I handmade this lamp with a speckled white stoneware. After building the shape, I handpainted the cat and flowers with underglaze. After the piece was bisque fired, I applied multiple glazes to create different effects including one that added more speckles and creates a matte finish. After firing the glazed lamp to cone 6, I painted the cat’s stripes with 22k gold luster followed by a third firing.
This lamp is 9” across x 7.5” deep x 14” tall.
It comes wired, with a Tala Squire Cage LED bulb.
