This mug is kind of biblical with its snake, gold horns, and talk of morality. But don’t let that stop you from enjoying a warm cozy beverage, the mug isn’t talking about you…or is it?

This mug was handbuilt by me using a pale stoneware. After forming the vessel and attaching the handle, nose, and horns, I handpainted with underglaze to create the face, hair, and snake. The mug was then bisque fired before being glazed with a light pink interior and clear exterior. Lastly, I added 22k gold luster details followed by a third firing.

This mug is approximately 4” tall and holds 10 fl oz. She is signed on the bottom.
