Sure she’s a little drippy but boy-oh-boy she will be a conversation starter at your next gathering. All her eyes will be watching as all your guests’ eyes watch her pour and drip glorious gravy over plates full of delicious food.
This gravy boat was handbuilt by me with a pale stoneware. After forming the shape I handpainted the face, hair and bows with underglaze. It was then bisque fired before being glazed with a crystal purple on the interior and clear on the exterior. Afterwards I added details with 22k gold luster before a third and final firing.
This gravy boat is approximately 7” x 4” x 4”. She holds 11oz.
The bottom of this piece is signed.
