This little porcelain tray features a lady wearing a tiger costume while she looks off into the distance (thinking about more cats).

This plate was made using my very own handmade screenprinted transfers. What does that mean? It means I illustrated this image on my iPad, then burned a screen of the drawing and printed the image using ceramic underglaze onto newsprint. Next, I made slab built plates and pressed the newspaper onto the clay. When I carefully lifted the paper off the plate, the image was left behind.
After the bisque firing, the plate was glazed, fired to cone six, adorned with 22k gold luster stars and then fired a third and final time.

It measures about 8"x5.5" and is signed on the back.
