Daily Conversations was a group show held in August of 2018 at the Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River, OR. I was invited to participate in this unique show for which I was to create 30 pieces in 30 days. When invited, it was asked if I could possibly create some textile items for the show as well.
I decided to divide the 30 days up according to season, 1 season per week with 2 final drawings created as season transitions. All of the work was ink on paper in a range of sizes. Once I completed the 30 days of drawing, I began using some of the illustrations to create screenprinted textiles including totes, pillows, and t-shirts. I also have used the illustrations to create a risograph 2019 calendar.
