In August 2018, I was invited to participate in a group exhibit titled Daily Conversations hosted by the Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River, Oregon. The project spanned 30 days, each day a piece of art was to be created. They asked me to also consider including some textiles in my project as well.
With this in mind, I created 30 black and whites illustrations with the idea that I would then draw from this body of work to create screenprinted textiles and risograph-printed paper goods. I created tote bags and pillows for the show itself but have continued creating new items featuring some of these illustrations. Here is a sampling of some of the items I’ve created. Some are available for purchase in my shop.
